Krishna gives the final assurance about studying the Gita. 'Adhiyeṣyate ca ya imaṁ dharmyaṁ saṁvādamāvayoḥ'—and (ca) he who (yaḥ) will study (adhiyeṣyate) this righteous conversation (imam dharmyam saṁvādam) between us two (āvayoḥ). 'Jñāna-yajñena tenāham iṣṭaḥ syām iti me matiḥ'—by that sacrifice of knowledge (jñāna-yajñena tena), I (aham) will be worshipped (iṣṭaḥ syām) by him. Such is My opinion (iti me matiḥ). This is the final assurance: whoever studies this righteous conversation between Krishna and Arjuna (the Bhagavad Gita), by that sacrifice of knowledge, Krishna will be worshipped by him. Studying the Gita is itself a form of worship—a sacrifice of knowledge. When you study the Gita with devotion, you are worshipping Krishna through knowledge. This is the assurance: study the Gita, and Krishna will be worshipped by you.
How this ancient wisdom applies to your daily life

This verse gives the final assurance: and he who will study this righteous conversation between us (adhiyeṣyate ca ya imaṁ dharmyaṁ saṁvādamāvayoḥ), by that sacrifice of knowledge, I will be worshipped by him. Such is My opinion (jñāna-yajñena tenāham iṣṭaḥ syām iti me matiḥ). This is the final assurance: whoever studies this righteous conversation between Krishna and Arjuna (the Bhagavad Gita), by that sacrifice of knowledge, Krishna will be worshipped by him. Are you studying the Gita with devotion, or just reading it as information? Are you treating it as a sacrifice of knowledge? What would change if you understood that studying the Gita with devotion is itself a form of worship, and through this, the Supreme will be worshipped by you?
