Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11, Verse 27

वक्त्राणि ते त्वरमाणा विशन्ति दंष्ट्राकरालानि भयानकानि | केचिद्विलग्ना दशनान्तरेषु सन्दृश्यन्ते चूर्णितैरुत्तमाङ्गैः ||

vaktrāṇi te tvaramāṇā viśanti daṁṣṭrā-karālāni bhayānakāni kecid vilagnā daśanāntareṣu sandṛśyante cūrṇitair uttamāṅgaiḥ

Rushing, they enter into Your terrible mouths with fearsome tusks. Some are seen stuck between the teeth with crushed heads.

Arjuna describes in detail how warriors are being consumed. 'Vaktrāṇi te tvaramāṇā viśanti'—rushing (tvaramāṇāḥ), they enter (viśanti) into Your (te) mouths (vaktrāṇi). 'Daṁṣṭrā-karālāni bhayānakāni'—with terrible (karālāni) and fearsome (bhayānakāni) tusks (daṁṣṭrā). 'Kecid vilagnā daśanāntareṣu'—some (kecit) are stuck (vilagnāḥ) between the teeth (daśanāntareṣu). 'Sandṛśyante cūrṇitair uttamāṅgaiḥ'—are seen (sandṛśyante) with crushed (cūrṇitaiḥ) heads (uttamāṅgaiḥ). Arjuna is witnessing the gruesome details of the cosmic form consuming warriors—they rush into the terrible mouths, some getting stuck between the teeth with crushed heads. This vision shows the destructive aspect of the cosmic form in graphic detail, intensifying Arjuna's fear.
