Prithvi Mudra is one of the most important elemental mudras, connecting you to the earth element (Prithvi Tattva). This mudra strengthens bones, tissues, and muscles while promoting patience, endurance, and stability. It helps ground excess energy, reduces feelings of being scattered or ungrounded, and enhances your connection to the physical body. How to Practice

- 1Sit comfortably with spine straight and shoulders relaxed
- 2Rest both hands on your thighs or knees with palms facing upward
- 3On each hand, touch the tip of your ring finger to the tip of your thumb
- 4Keep the index finger, middle finger, and pinky finger extended straight and relaxed
- 5Form a gentle circle with ring finger and thumb
- 6Keep both hands in the same position
- 7Close your eyes and breathe deeply
- 8Focus awareness on the earth element within and around you
- 9Visualize roots growing from your body into the earth
- 10Hold for 5-15 minutes, feeling grounded and stable
Breathing Pattern
Breathe deeply and slowly. Inhale stability and strength from the earth, exhale any scattered energy. Feel yourself becoming more grounded with each breath.
