How to Practice

  1. 1Sit in a comfortable meditation posture with spine straight
  2. 2Bring your hands together in front of your lower abdomen
  3. 3Touch the tips of your ring fingers and pinky fingers together
  4. 4Keep other fingers relaxed and slightly apart
  5. 5Rest your hands in your lap or on your thighs
  6. 6Close your eyes and breathe deeply
  7. 7Focus awareness on the base of your spine (root chakra)
  8. 8Visualize a red glowing light at the base of your spine
  9. 9Hold the mudra for 5-15 minutes
  10. 10Feel yourself becoming grounded and stable

Breathe deeply and slowly. Inhale strength and stability, exhale fear and anxiety. Feel each breath connecting you deeper to the earth.
